Webinar addresses driving IoT devices with supercap-based energy harvesting

The pressure on developers creating devices for the Internet of Things continues to grow, one issue being how to drive small wireless devices. Many IoT products are always-on systems that continually draw current, often without a practical way to recharge or replace the battery in the field. Supercapacitors and energy harvesting systems are one way IoT designers can create wireless low-maintenance energy sources that do not limit device functionality.

On October 25th, a 3-part webinar series from Silego will showcase a variety of supercapacitor and energy-harvesting power solutions to address these challenges. These circuits will be implemented in a GreenPAKTM Configurable Mixed-signal IC to allow low power, low cost and easily modifiable designs. After each webinar, registrants will receive links to the free GreenPAK Designer software and all GreenPAK design files covered in the session. Links to the recording and corresponding application notes will also be provided.
