Littelfuse AEC-Q101 qualified TVS diodes protect automotive electronics

Littelfuse introduced the TPSMF4L series of AEC-Q101 qualified transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes to protect automotive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events. The TVS diodes offer 400 W of peak pulse power dissipation in a, surface mount, flat-lead SOD-123FL plastic package with a height profile of 0.98 mm.

The diodes target dc power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics including electronic control units, sensors, entertainment systems, and body control modules (BCMs), and for portable devices that require high reliability such as hard drives, notebooks, VCC buses, PoS terminals, SSDs, power supplies, monitors and other consumer applications.

TPSMF4L series TVS diodes feature:

  • 400 W at 10/1000 μs peak pulse power dissipation capability in a SOD-123FL footprint.
  • Standard voltage ranges from 5 to 85 V are available.
  • They comply with 61000-4-2 and IEC 61000-4-4 standards to help meet global regulatory standards.

TPSMF4L series TVS diodes are sold in quantities of 3,000 in tape and reel (8-mm tape/7-in. reel) packaging. Additional information is available on the product page. If you have technical questions, please contact: Charlie Cai, Product Manager, ccai@littelfuse.com.
